O P H E L I A S Z I M M E R

An exploration of Ophelia’s journey through Hamlet, we watched Ophelia’s room and her near silent journey through the play. We deconstructed Millais’ romantic portrait of her death, flooding her bedroom, layering her clothes until her body was bloating, rejected flowers from Hamlet scattered in the water.
